Armstrong joked that Thomas can have one of his Tour de France prizes after they stole the Welsh rider’s title.
Thomas’s Coupe Omnisports got missing at a display at The Cycle Show which took place in Birmingham City in September.
The authorities then decided to strip American, Armstrong of his record seven Tour de France gongs.
While on the other hand, they banned him from the sport for life in 2012 after testing positive for drugs.
Armstrong retweets BBC Sport’s tweet about the Thomas stolen trophy
He then made a post on his official twitter page: “I got 7 of em if you wanna borrow one.”
Armstrong made the comment as he made a retweet of BBC Sport’s tweet about the trophy being stolen from Thomas.
The Coupe Omnisports which the winner of cycling’s most famous race gets each year was missing.
And that was after Thomas’s Team Sky had loaned the trophy to sponsors, Pinarello to showcase at The Cycle Show.
They thereafter gave the black and gold handmade trophy as present to the Cardiff rider earlier on in the summer.
And that was when he went on to emerge as only the third Briton to win the Tour de France.
Team Sky’s Italian bike manufacturer, Pinarello put it on display at Birmingham NEC between 28 and 30 September of 2018.
Someone then snatched the trophy after they “momentarily failed to attend” to it during the clear-up immediately after the show.
“The trophy means a lot to me and to the team,” Thomas said after it got stolen.
