England’s James Foster formally retires from the game of cricket

South African Mzansi Super League T20 cricket team, Jozi Stars have revealed excitement to be partnering with Brand South Africa.

They are happy that this will help to promote and celebrate Jozi”s diversity, history and heritage to strengthen social cohesion.

Jozi Stars brand promise is to always ignite excellence and the brand promise stems from the name Jo’burg commonly Jozi.

And this is the city of gold that represents a city of hope while also inspiring new possibilities.

That is a place where dreams and stardom come into reality, the melting pot of various cultures and its arts.

It has also always tried to celebrate its diversity, rich history, heritage and its passionate love of the sport.

“Our partnership with the Alexandra Heritage Community Centre is well-poised to ignite excellence with the heritage, arts and cultural space.

“Fans in their diversities are welcomed to attend all upcoming matches to celebrate South Africa’s rich history and heritage.

“The first edition of the tournament is set to take place from 16 November to 16 December of this year.

De Villiers biggest attraction as Super League kick-starts

Former Proteas star batsman, AB de Villiers will perhaps be the biggest attraction as the Mzansi Super League finally kick-starts.

The Mzansi Super League gets underway on Friday with de Villiers already attracting a lot of buzz in the competition.

He is now very much in line to headline South Africa’s first city-based Twenty20 league.

That is when he leads the Tshwane Spartans in the opening game of the competition against Cape Town Blitz on Friday.

The month-long league will get kick off barely four weeks after the formal launch.

And that is even the case without a title sponsor and with a relatively modest list of international players.

But this is partly due to the fact that a whole lot of some big-name players already had other commitments.
