Red Sox supporter destroys World Series trophy with beer can – VeloxSports TV

One of the supporters of the Boston Red Sox has reportedly damaged the World Series trophy with a beer can during a parade

The beer can which the Red Sox fan decided to fling has now damaged the shinning trophy a little bit.

Fans in the city of Los Angeles are famously rowdy and sometimes, they are also very riotous.

In-spite of that, though, they generally do not throw full beer cans at their championship teams who pick up trophies.

At Boston’s parade for the Red Sox, beer cans went in the direction of the duck boat carrying the team.

In the wake of which one hit manager, Alex Cora and the MLB Commissioner’s Trophy while also injuring a fan.

After the spewing can hit him, Cora pointed out the 19-year-old man in the crowd who had actually thrown it.

And the police duly arrested the teenager but in the mean-time, the team says the trophy has now undergone repair.

Boston police have arrested a man for allegedly hitting someone with a can of beer.

And that was the very one he threw during the parade celebrating the World Series-winning Red Sox.

Police have further said that 19-year-old Patrick Connolly of Sandwich in Massachusetts will face up to a series of charges.

They have now charged him with disorderly conduct and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Police said the can struck but did not injure an unidentified man aboard one of the amphibious duck boats in Wednesday’s parade.

It wasn’t immediately clear if the beer can Connolly threw was the same one which hit and damaged the trophy.

Red Sox exert revenge on Dodgers to clinch ninth World Series title

The Boston Red Sox have exerted revenge on the Los Angeles Dodgers to clinch their ninth World Series title.

That is with two matches to prosecute as they defeated the LA Dodgers 5-1 at Dodger Stadium on Sunday night.

Steve Pearce emerged as the Series’ Most Valuable Player after hitting an impressive two home runs in the decisive win.

The duo of Mookie Betts and JD Martinez also scored home runs in the encounter.

And that was the case as the Red Sox took the best-of-seven Major League Baseball final 4-1.

“You grow up wishing you could be part of something like this,” Pearce said.

“This has been a lifelong journey and to be here right now is a dream come true.” He summed up.

The Los Angeles Dodgers earlier handed out defeat to Boston Red Sox to create a record in the world of baseball.

And that is by the former winning the longest game in the history of the World Series, beating Red Sox.

Max Muncy hit a walk-off home run in the 18th inning to end an encounter lasting seven hours, twenty minutes.

Muncy then sparked wild jubilations among Los Angeles Dodgers supporters.

And that was after hitting the decisive home run in the longest game ever in World Series history on Friday.

The tie had actually stretched to 18 innings lasting a total time of seven hours and 20 minutes.

And after which Muncy’s hit secured the LA Dodgers a 3-2 win triumph against the Red Sox in game three.
